Frequently asked questions

Understand the Method before you trust it with your training.

The product should be clear about what it does, what it does not do, and when a human coach remains the right answer.

01

What is Meyer Method?

Meyer Method is a coach-led endurance training approach built around one practical question: what is the next right training decision for this athlete today? It considers the purpose of the plan alongside recovery, life context, goals, and the athlete's response.

02

Does Meyer Method replace a coach?

No. The product is designed to make coaching thinking more accessible and to organize decisions that can be handled clearly. High-impact, uncertain, or coach-owned decisions stay with the assigned coach.

03

Does AI decide my training?

No. AI may help explain an approved Meyer Method decision in conversational language, but it does not independently create training authority or silently rewrite a plan.

04

What happens when life changes the plan?

Meyer Method first looks at the purpose of the scheduled session and the athlete's current context. When an approved alternative exists, the athlete can compare the original workout with the recommended response and understand the tradeoff. Decisions that exceed that boundary go to the coach.

05

Is Meyer Method medical care?

No. Meyer Method is endurance coaching and general wellness. Serious symptoms, injuries, clinical restrictions, and other medical boundaries are not treated as ordinary training decisions and should be handled by the appropriate qualified professional.

06

Does the public assessment save my answers?

No. The current eight-question assessment runs in the browser and does not submit or save the answers. Saving or personalizing athlete information is a separate signed-in and consented experience.

07

What is the TrainingPeaks plan?

A consent-controlled manual TrainingPeaks import pilot is being developed so approved athlete training history can be brought into Meyer Method. Broader live synchronization and any automated plan updates remain separate future steps with coach control and provider approval.

08

Who is Kenny Meyer?

Kenny is an Austin-based endurance coach working across triathlon, running, cycling, and long-course performance. He is a TrainingPeaks Level 2 Coach, and his own 250+ pound transformation is part of the lived experience behind the Method.

09

How can I try Meyer Method now?

The public assessment and fictional interactive demo are available now. Early-access registration is not collecting email addresses on the website yet, and broader enrollment will open only when the supporting account, consent, and service workflows are ready.
